Martha Stewart is a self-confessed fan of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding bliss. In an interview with Huffington Post¸the 72-year-old revealed how she became close to the couple who first became her neighbors.

"She moved into my neighborhood a couple of years ago with Ryan -- before they got married, they bought a house right around the corner from my house. And they started to come over, not to borrow sugar, but just as friends," she gushed.

The lifestyle expert not only admires Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding bliss but because of them being "friendly" and "nice."

Stewart also says that the 'Gossip Girl' actress is far from the characters that she portray on screen: "In a way, [Blake's] kind of shy -- not shy on the screen, at all, if you've seen any of Blake's movies -- but very shy in person."

She similarly acknowledged the fact that Lively already started her own lifestyle blog, Preserve. When asked by the publication if the 'Age of Adaline' star has a chance of becoming the next Martha Stewart, she responded, "Let her try."

Recognizing that such remark might come out rude, Stewart immediately justified what she said:

"I don't mean that facetiously! I mean, it's stupid, she could be an actress! Why would you want to be me if you could be an actress? I just did a movie yesterday, though -- I can't even tell you about it -- but I want to be Blake Lively."

Even if many people look up to her, Stewart says that she still gets "starstruck" with people who are "better at everything than you are."

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' wedding in Charleston, South Carolina in 2012 has been styled by Stewart herself. Though the affair was lavish, the couple opted to make it as intimate as possible with only 35 guests.

"We quickly discovered that Ryan and Blake are not like the many altar-bound celebrities who sell their big-day photos to the highest bidder," described Stewart to her wedding magazine.
