Moto 360 Watch price, release date: With its official announcement of releasing the smartwatch "later this summer," Motorola definitely knows how to keep the public excited.

Although the Motorola Moto 360 has been unveiled in the company's website, there are still no leaks of its true specs and features. In other words, we are still on the edge of our seats for this baby. And from the positive comments it has been receiving, the round smartwatch should be good.

In a blog post on the company's website, Motorola's Corporate Vice President of Product Management Lior Ron called the Moto 360 "a truly modern timepiece". He added, "It's time for a watch that looks and feels great and gives you the information you need, when you need it."

Mark Randall, Motorola's senior vice president of supply chain, said in an interview with TrustedReviews: "Moto 360 is a really cool device that we think solves a lot of problems that no one else has solved in the wearable's space."

Bound to rival against the other two Android Wears LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live, the Moto 360 already stands out because of its circular and more watch-like design.

Based on its released pictures, the Motorola smartwatch looks a bit chunky. If this is true, then it will definitely limit its users to ones with smaller wrists perhaps. Speaking of wrist, it is also said that the Moto 360 will have metal and leather strap options.

Although the watch looks like it might have a sapphire glass panel in order to be more scratch resistant, it is most likely to get a cheaper screen in order to lower the entire price, since the premium sapphire glass is a bit pricey. Reports are saying that the display might have a Gorilla Glass coating instead.

From the looks of it, the Motorola smartwatch will be out by late September or early October, close to the rumored release of the unconfirmed Apple iWatch. It is also rumored that the Moto 360 will be out the same time as the launch of the Moto X 1.
