The Liam Hemsworth dating rumor mill has been pretty quiet recently, as the New York Post reported that the "Hunger Games" star is probably not ready to move on yet after his breakup with ex-fiancee Miley Cyrus.

While dining out with friends in Portofino, Italy, Liam Hemsworth's dating life appeared to be the topic of the conversation which eventually led to the actor talking about her ex and how they would always be best friends.

He also reportedly said that he felt an instant and powerful connection with Miley Cyrus.

A source told the NY Post that Liam Hemsworth "kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other."

"He also said they bought a lot of furniture but he had to leave it behind when they broke up and he got his new place, which was furnished," the source added.

The last time Liam Hemsworth dating rumors were reported by the tabloids was back in February when he was seen with "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev. Celebuzz confirmed the Nina Dobrev and Liam Hemsworth dating rumors as they were snapped kissing in Corner Tavern in Edgewood.

Liam Hemsworth might wax nostalgic about his relationship with his ex but the "Wrecking Ball" singer had plenty to say about the "Hunger Games" star during her recent Bangerz tour in London.
