NU'EST Ranks No.1 In Album Sales On Tower Records
Korean idol group NU'EST topped the Tower Record Album Sales Chart in Japan with their previous album, "NU'EST BEST IN KOREA," which was released June 30.
The K-pop group's latest album was spotted ranking No.1 on the popular Japanese music chart for three consecutive days from July 29 to 31.
In order to celebrate NU'EST's huge accomplishment, limited edition posters of the members were displayed while 1,000 fans gathered as a way to congratulate the five-member group on their skyrocketing career.
While their success in Japan is beyond amazing, NU'EST fans in Korea have been mesmerized by the ongoing success of the group's first album, which was released on July 9. Before the first studio album was officially released, NU'EST gave fans a snippet of what their concept is going to be like with a teaser video.
"NU'EST's 1st studio album, 'NU'EST The 1st ALBUM RE:BIRTH,' will be officially released in a few days, and choreography video of the album's intro track, 'Judgement,' was released through NU'EST's official YouTube channel," a representative from NU'EST management agency, Pledis Entertainment, stated.
The choreography video was released by the strong requests of fans, who have been following the idol group since their debut in 2012, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.
NU'EST's most recent development has been the release of a lyric video for the song "Storybook," which was one of the tracks included on their "RE:REBIRTH" album, according to the publication Allkpop.
NU'EST has continued to skyrocket within the K-pop industry, not only because of their music skills but also because of their ability to communicate with the foreign press quite easily, thanks to member Aron's English skills.
Despite being relatively new to the K-pop scene, NU'EST has already ventured outside of Korea to promote themselves. The boys recently visited Turkey to be judges in a K-pop Dance Contest.
"After our visit [to Turkey] I realized that K-pop is really becoming an international sensation," explained Minhyun.
