Girl Group Girls' Generation To Hold First China Fan Meeting Tour This Fall

K-pop girl group Girls' Generation is truly "THE BEST."

The nine-member idol group will be holding their first fan meeting ever in China since their debut while promoting their most recent album.

The upcoming Girls' Generation event has already begun making headlines amongst Chinese media outlets. The K-pop sensation will officially begin their fan meeting in September or October and will visit their Chinese fan base in various cities through their "Girl's Generation First Fan Party" event.

Girls' Generation is currently dominating music charts in Japan with its 1st Japanese album "THE BEST." The all-female group recently set a record in the country for being the only Asian girl group to make three consecutive No. 1 debuts, according to Oricon's official website.

"THE BEST" shot to No. 1 soon after it was released on July 23, taking the spot on the Oricon Daily Album Chart and Weekly Chart, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore. Their latest album joins the success of their previous albums, including "GIRLS' GENERATION" and "LOVE & PEACE," which also ranked at No. 1.

There's a reason "THE BEST" has gained so much attention and love from fans and media outlets. The album consists of Girls' Generation's most popular hits, including "GENIE," "GEE," "MR. TAXI," "GALAXY SUPERNOVA," "BEEP BEEP," "PAPARAZZI," "FLOWER POWER," the Japanese version of "Mr. Mr" and a new ballad called "Indestructible."

Billboards advertising the group's new album was posted in major locations in Japan, including Ginza, Shinjuku, Ikebukuor, O-otemachi, Akihabara, Rotbbongi, Ebis, and Yurakcho areas of Tokyo until yesterday.

Along with the success of "THE BEST," the members also celebrated their seventh anniversary since debuting in the K-pop scene. The world is clearly celebrating along with the girls, as the hashtags "#9irlsGenera7ion" and "#Congratulations to Girls' Generation on their 7th Anniversary" (in Korean) are currently ranking high on the worldwide trending list, according to Allkpop.
