"We have given no thoughts to changing something in his contract," he said.

Michael Schumacher has been the face of Mercedes Benz since April 2013, following his last Grand Prix, the UK's Independent reported.

Meanwhile, in other Michael Schumacher news update, the primary suspect in stealing the Formula One champion's medical records from the hospital where he was recovering from coma reportedly killed himself.

The suspect, identified only as a Swiss helicopter rescue worker from Rega, has hanged himself inside his jail cell, according to MailOnline.

Rega organized Schumi's transport from a French hospital to Switzerland.

The suspect reportedly killed himself just 24 hours after he was arrested for stealing the medical records of the Formula One champion and leaking them online.

Earlier, Michael Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm confirmed that his medical records were stolen. However, she said that they still have no confirmation regarding the authenticity of the medical files. But she said those files were stolen and those responsible-including the people who will buy those stolen files-will face criminal charges.

"For several days stolen documents and data are being offered for sale. The offerer claims them to be the medical file of Michael Schumacher," Sabine Kehm's statement published on BBC read.

"We cannot judge if these documents are authentic. However, the documents are clearly stolen. The theft has been reported. The contents of any medical files are totally private and confidential and must not be made available to the public," Sabine Kehm added about the Michael Schumacher news.
