"The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers are up and creator Bruno Heller promises a satisfying conclusion to the series but does that mean wedding bells for Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon? Meanwhile, a familiar foe will return possibly to cause more trouble.

Bruno Heller, along with Simon Baker and Robin Tunney, dished out "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The pleasures of the show rests in the byplay between Robin [Tunney] and Simon [Baker]. Getting rid of Red John allowed us to focus on that human aspect of the show. Red John, as it turns out, was a convenience for Jane because it meant he didn't have to confront the rest of his life and what he's doing," he said.

Simon Baker added: "After [Red John] goes, for both Lisbon and Jane, there is a palpable sense of 'What now? Do I really want to continue doing the same thing?' It left the two of them without an excuse to decide where that relationship was going. They had always been able to keep it separate. Those questions start bubbling up and the rest of the season was the resolution of those questions."

Although he admitted that it's difficult for Patrick Jane to open himself up to another person because he forgot what that's like.

As to the series conclusion, Bruno Heller promised that fans are going to be satisfied. "This is a popular show. It's meant for the people. We have tried to make a finale to the season that will please and engage and fill our core audience."

"It will by and large give the audience closure, but I suspect it will leave them craving more," he said.

Meanwhile, according to Zap2it, which reported more "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers, Monica Baccarin will return as Erika Flynn who was last seen by fans escaping from prison. According to the website, Erika duped both Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon when she offered information in exhange for pardon.
