Toshiba WERAM 1100 Release Date Confirmed As Fitness Tracker Wristband Can Sync Data To Apple Or Android Smartphones!

Toshiba WERAM 1100 is a the new fitness-tracking wristband that can sync data with a smartphone over a Bluetooth connection and allow user to view accumulated data as graphs.

Like similar devices from Withings, Nike, Jawbone and Fitbit the Toshiba WERAM 1100 can track activity of including the distance travelled, steps taken and as well as the quality of the sleep of the users.

Toshiba fitness tracker can also count calories and even upload a pictures of the meals in intake in estimating the calories that will burned as a user exercise throughout the day.

Once a user set the personal fitness tracking goals and have work the way meeting it an alarm function in the said device will informed the user. 

"An integrated accelerator enables the WERAM 1100 to estimate physical, such as steps taken, distance travelled and calories burned. The device can also measure of sleep states and patterns and hours and sleeps a day," Toshiba said. 

Furthermore, according to Toshiba, the WERAM 1100 draws on a signal processing technology that the company is cultivated in its semiconductor business and achieves a great feature that saves power consumption to a minimum.

The WERAM 1100 will only be charged every after two weeks, a two-week battery life is one of the best feature of the said device, unlike other devices in the market.

The fitness tracker goes on sale in Japan this week and it is expected to start shipping on the 20th of August this year.

Toshiba WERAM 1100 is available for pre-order in Japan only for now, in black, light grey, blue-green and pink. It is not yet clear with Toshiba to when are they going to make the device available for other countries.
