Ryan Kwanten Shirtless In Malibu Beach; True Blood Star Shows Off Ripped Torso Bod And ‘V’ Cut
Ryan Kwanten shirtless and the idea of it is enough to draw people’s attention, but the concept was a reality on August 5 when the 37-year-old actor was spotted in Malibu, CA. The True Blood hunk, who plays Jason Stackhouse in the hit HBO show, was seen wearing low-hanging black swim trunks, showcasing his ripped torso and a “V” cut around his pelvic area.
“He was seen off the shores of Malibu yesterday, coming out of the ocean after taking a dip. It was one of the greatest moments ever caught on camera,” writes Perez Hilton.
The famous celebrity blogger noted that “lots of actors have incredible bodies but Ryan is just…different.” He described him as having a “body of a Greek god.”
Three years ago, the Hollywood hearthhrob shared with Vulture that his buff body comes naturally thanks to an active lifestyle.
“I just work out for my own sanity, to be honest. I grew up in a competitive, sporting environment. It’s just sort of part and parcel of who I am. I’m one of three boys, and the easiest way for my mom to deal with all of us was to kick us outside.”
Of course, aside from his recent shirtless escapade that left many fans happy, Ryan Kwanten was in the news because of a steamy gay sex scene with fellow True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgard.
They said that the scene was something that both of them was asking for, even begging the show’s producers at some point.
The scene was of two men- a sheriff (Kwanten) and a 1000-year-old vampire (Skarsgard).
“Alex and I got a little intimate….very, very intimate,” Kwanten says about the scene.
Both men have been lauded eye candy in the hit series and the scene, which went viral, has gained praise from fans. The two stars claimed that there was no awkwardness at all during the scene. They even claimed sharing laughs the whole time it was being shot.
"I always have a lot of fun, and I think that's the important thing to remember," Kwanten told TVLine. "We're just there to have fun and to stay true to the characters. Thinking back to this particular scene, I just remember Alex and I laughing a lot."
