"Revenge" season 4 spoilers reveal the addition of two new characters who could become ally to Emily Thorne, as the series takes a drastic turn with David Clarke's resurrection.

According to Breathecast, which teased "Revenge" season 4 spoilers, Elena Satine ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") and Brian Hallisay ("The Client List") are joining the show when it resumes in September.

Elena Satine will play Louise whose role in Emily Thorne's life, for now, remains a mystery. The casting description said that she's a black sheep from a very rich family who "finds herself in trouble as she journeys east, out of her comfort zone."

Brian Hallisay will play Ben, a police officer who is also a friend to Jack. The rumor mill has placed Ben as a new romantic interest for Emily Thorne.

The Examiner dished out more "Revenge" season 4 spoilers when it said that David Clarke's return will provide the necessary impetus to move the story forward to another direction. The series has always revolved around Emily Thorne's quest for vengeance and she has achieved that. But now that her father is actually alive, how could she now reconcile with what she has been doing all these years?

A lot of future episodes will be about Emily Thorne trying to live with the things she has done, and also about trying to regain her identity. And she will find out that her father is not the same man.

Now his return can cause a tug-of-war between Emily and Victoria, as showrunner Aaron Herberts dished out "Revenge" season 4 spoilers to E! News:

"If Victoria Grayson manages to get to him first, she could convince David to turn on Emily. If Victoria gets to David before Emily does, then she has the upper hand. She has the control and could he be manipulated by her?" he said.
