With his eyes on Nadia Forde and Sasha Gale, Rory McIlroy probably doesn’t care how Caroline Wozniacki reacts to his comments!

Rory McIlroy recently won the Open Championship and has become a force to reckon with in the international golf scene. He is seen as a threat that’s bigger than Tiger Woods!

Looks like the 25-year-old Irish golfer has become quite confident of himself. In a recent interview with PGA Championship, Rory McIlroy claimed that breaking up with his former girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki was the best thing he did for his career.

“Well, I think it has happened to me for the better,” McIlroy admitted in the interview, “I’ve put a little bit more time into my golf and refocused me in a way. It’s the only thing ‑‑ not the only thing I have; I’ve got my family and my friends, but I just immersed myself in my game. I’ve practiced hard and I’ve done all the right things, and I’m reaping the rewards.”

That’s not exactly true. He has been surrounding himself with many potential girlfriends. Nadia Forde and Sasha Gale has been linked with him ever since his break up. Now, his old girlfriend Holly Sweeney is coming back in the picture.

Caroline Wozniacki, who probably knows the guy a little too well, saw right through him. She posted a picture on Instagram that took a stab at the Irish golfer.

Funnily enough, she captioned the picture, “Have a beautiful day!”

It’s a good thing that Caroline Wozniacki is ready forgive his rather thoughtless comments.

“I’m in a great place right now,” Wozniacki said during a Cincinnati press conference.

“I’ve been working really hard. And this is the part of the season I really like. I love playing on grass, and I love the US Open Series. It’s definitely part of the season I play well in, and winning in Istanbul a few weeks ago was definitely a confidence boost.”

Danish tennis player, who hasn’t reached a Major final since 2009, is eyeing for a big return this coming U.S. Open.

“The US Open is the Grand Slam I have done the best at,” Wozniacki added.

“I just feel so comfortable there, and I’ve played really well there in the past, so I’m definitely really excited for it.”

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki have been just rocking it in their sports since the break up. Guess they are channeling the frustration pretty well!
