Timeful is a free application for iPhone that  helps you stop on depending personal time assistants to do tasks. The device is now available in the United States and Canada.

The said application is available for iPhone and it uses an artificial intelligence to schedule the tasks that the user will do, like events, meetings and gatherings on their calendar. It also indicates the time by the hour on how long it will take to do the task.

The reason why Timeful was created because CEO Jacob Application found out that a lot of applications had been created in many domains, in finance, music shopping, education and more. And realized it is about time to create an application to manage their schedules.

"Time is by far the most precious resource we have and by far the one we manage the poorest," Dan Ariely co-founder of the California-based company Timeful said.

Users of this device connect their Google, Outlook and iCloud calendars to integrate scheduled meetings or tasks.

"Time, like money, is about opportunity cost," said Ariely. "Every minute you're not focused during your productive hours is a waste."

Timeful can also add to-do items.

"There's a cacophony of things that say 'do me.' We provide algorithmic help to make them more concrete, because if it's not in your schedule, it's unlikely to get done," said Yoav Shoham, a co-founder of Timeful.

The Timeful application which is now availabe in iPhone will have a version for the Web and Android.

However, the president of Toronto-based Pace Productivity Mark Ellwood said, "An application could be helpful but productivity is more about the discipline of planning more than it is about a particular tool."

Ellwood elucidated by pointing out that yes, one might have the best to-do list or time application but still it is about being productive to work and having the discipline in managing time.

"Ultimately it's the person that decides what to do with their time. The intelligence needs to be in your head, not the machine" Ellwood added.

Other personal assistant apps available for iPhone is Tempo and Sunrise for iPhone and Android.
