Twitter Unveils Promoted Video Ads For The Social Networking Site! Would This Turn Off The Users?

Twitter on has revealed a new advertising program that delivers promoted video ads to the tweet stream of users.

The new program of Twitter adds to the source of advertising revenue, which has struggled to convince investors on the benefits and the profitability they will get from the sites.

Promoted Video was built upon Twitter Amplify program, it brings a set of video tools to high-quality content producers.

David Regan the product manager of the new advertising program in blog post said, "By using Promoted Video, it is easy for brands to upload and distribute video on Twitter, and to measure the reach and effectiveness of this content."

Prior to the launching of the Promoted Video, Regan said that they undergo a keen and close observation, experiment and feedback from the users of the brands.

Regan also added to make it easier and really beneficial, Twitter will offer a "cost per view" model, which means that the advertisers will only get charged if the users starts playing the promoted video.

Furthermore, the advertisers who are using the Promoted Video will have access to check on the robust video analytics graph, such as how many people view the entire ads.

Twitter expects to increase its percent of global digital ad revenue to 0.8 percent this year, as the digital ad spending grows to USD 140.15 billion.
