"Sharknado 3" 2015 cast rumors are here and it's one big casting. Shaquille O'Neal and "Harry Potter" Daniel Radcliffe's names have surfaced as possible addition to the movie, as the director gears up for an "NHL-themed" catastrophe.

Director Anthony C. Ferrante told Sporting News  that he would love to have Shaq in the movie.

"I've always liked Shaq. I would love to see him take on a shark and see if he could win. You want someone that's formidable, and Shaq is a foe," he said. "I think, if I was a shark, I'd be afraid of him. I'd think twice about flying into that boy."

In other "Sharknado 3" cast rumors, Daniel Radcliffe of the "Harry Potter" movies is reportedly set on making a cameo. "Beverly Hills 90210" alum Ian Ziering apparently is on a recruitment drive to get more celebrities on the Sy-Fy show.

"Ian was backstage at the 'Today' show Monday, and he asked Daniel Radcliffe if he would be in it," a source told New York Daily News.

"Daniel said he loved the film and said he would do it if they found an amazing way for him to die," the source added.

According to Deadline, the ratings of "Sharknado 2: The Second One" on Twitter TV even outpaced the NFL, "WWE Monday Night Raw" and "Pretty Little Liars." The second installment drew more than 5.5 million Twitter users.

Although plot for the third installment is not yet finished, the director is considering an "NHL-themed" catastrophe.

"I think we'd have to do hockey because of the ice. We've done the stadium thing, and we're good with that. What are the new things we can do? The ice gives you something different," he said.
