"Zoolander 2" release date could finally be announced soon as Jennifer Aniston's fiancé Justin Theroux will hand over the reins to the sequel to Ben Stiller.

Justin Theroux, who helmed "Zoolander," told Vulture magazine, "We've got a script for the sequel, and we've just been in talks again."

"We're trying to sharpen it and hone it and, actually, I don't want to jinx anything, but it looks like it actually might be starting to get up and running," added Jennifer Aniston's fiance.

While he didn't' reveal anything about the "Zoolander 2" release date, he did say that he's bowing out of directing the "Zoolander" for now due to prior commitments. His stint on "The Leftovers" has just been extended after HBO announced that the show has been renewed for second season.

"I don't think I'm going to do it anymore. It really depends on whether the show gets picked up. If it gets picked up, then I don't think I'll have the time to do it. So it'll probably get handed to Ben, which would be awesome," Jennifer Aniston's fiance said.

Justin Theroux is also reportedly set to marry his two-year fiancée Jennifer Aniston this year.

"It's actually been a little hard with the show, but now I'm back full-time to dedicate time toward doing it," he said. "I met with Ben [Stiller] a couple times when I was in New York doing 'The Leftovers,' and then I'm meeting again with him probably in September."

While there's no word yet on "Zoolander 2" release date, details of the plot have already been leaked. According to EmpireOnline, the events of the sequel will happen 10 years after the original. Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) are now struggling to get projects because they are already old by fashion industry standards. So they again have to make names for themselves to hilarious results.
