2014 Creative Arts Emmy Award: True Detective, Game of Thrones And Fargo Win, Harry Shearer Of The Simpsons As The Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance!

Some of the most talented TV stars attended the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Award on Saturday night.

The 2014 Creative Arts Emmys Award was held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

The said ceremony announced winners for several categories including Outstanding Reality Show, Guest Actress in a Comedy Series and More.

The HBO dramas Game of Thrones and True Detective, the critically exalted miniseries of Fargo were just some off the shows that emerged as winners of this years' Creative Arts Emmy Award.

For Game of Thrones, True Detective and Fargo the wins are good omen for the main game, next weekend's 66th annual prime-time Emmy Awards.

Game of Thrones took the outstanding special visual effects while True Detective took home awards for outstanding make-up and outstanding main title design.

Also, the FX drama Fargo won the Emmy for casting for a miniseries, the said series also won in almost universal critical acclaim and screened in Australia on SBS.

Moreover, voice-actor Harry Shearer of The Simpsons won the first ever Emmy for outstanding character voice over performance. Among other voices, Shearer is responsible for Springfield newscaster Ken Brockman, billionaire Mr. Burns and his assistant Smithers.

The presenters of 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Award were Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), Heidi Klum (Project Runway), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Matt Weiner (Mad Men) and Glee star Jane Lynch.

The creative arts award held a week prior to the main Emmy Awards, this primarily focus on the behind the scenes creative disciplines of television production, picture editing, hair-styling, casting and art direction.
