Katy Perry nose piercing video might make you wince and it might make you roar, but the California girl's fans couldn't get enough. Katy Perry spent "Last Friday Night" getting her nose pierced.

According to contactmusic.com, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer had a stud punched through her nose to cover up a scar got when she tried to pierce her own nose with a safety pin and an ice cube when she was 13. In the short clip video, Perry can be seen enduring a long needle being poked through her nostril.

Katy Perry posted the nose piercing video onto her Instagram account to share her 6.7 million followers.

The 29-year-old singer captioned the Instagram nose piercing video: "Last time I did this I was on my own with a safety pin & cube of ice @ 13. This time I thought it was best I left it to the pro's. Sorry mom (again)"

Katy Perry's nose piercing clip garnered got 290,000 likes on Instagram and has been retweeted almost 4,300 times.

Perry hit a piercing parlor during downtime from the U.S. leg of her tour.

Katy Perry performed in Ohio the night before the piercing. She is scheduled to play in Louisville, Kentucky, Saturday.
