Ice Bucket Challenge: Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber And Chris Pratt Take The Challenge, Director J.J Abrams Of Star Wars Reveals His Grandfather Suffer From ALS

It's not just the concerned citizens and world's top CEOs who took part of the ice bucket challenge but also the celebrities.

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Chris Pratt are just few of the celebrities who are taking part on the ice bucket challenge.

Chris Pratt, accepted the ice bucket challenge and posted a video where he consumes an icy-themed beverages and get doused in cold water.

Lady Gaga on the other hand, posted a video on her Instagram account where she sits wearing a studded leotard and black lipstick while holding a huge silver bowl.

"#IceBucketChallenge #ALS #SharePainShowCompassion I nominate Adele, Michael Rapino, Vincent Herbert, and Arthur Fogel #RichPeople," she captioned the video.

Justin Bieber posted a video on his Instagram account where he wears a white tank-top that quickly becomes see-through after he took the challenge. The 'Baby' calls out his "main man Barack Obama" to do the ice bucket challenge.

Furthermore, Star Wars helmer J.J Abrams takes an ice bath and promise to donate to the cause. The Director in the video he reveals that his grandfather suffered from ALS and Abrams dedicates the challenge to him.

The challenge, also called as ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head or donating a $100 to a charity who is creating an awareness on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS.

The Ice Bucket Challenge became viral when Pete Frates, a former Boston College baseball player took the challenge. Frates had been living with the disease since 2012.

Over $15 million has been donated to the ALS Association since the Ice Bucket Challenge began.
