Mila Jovovich is pregnant with her second child and the actress is was happy to announce the news. But she also revealed that her pregnancy will slow down the filming of "Resident Evil 6."

"Resident Evil" cast Milla Jovovoich announced on her Facebook account that she is pregnant with her second child with director husband Paul W.s. Anderson.

"Happy Monday everyone!" she wrote. "This was originally going to be a post to tell you how excited I am about flying to Cape Town, South Africa to begin working on "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. But... My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!"

"So, after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an 'RE' movie," Mila Jovovich's pregnancy announcement continued.

"Between stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn't think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo! Lol! I imagine the only thing I'll be killing in the near future is an endless supply of cupcakes. Yikes..." she said about the Mila Jovovich pregnant news.

She went on to say: "In all seriousness though, we want to make the best movie possible and that would be extremely difficult, to say the least, in my present condition."

Milla Jovovich, 38, who had last been pregnant in 2007, said that she was thankful to everyone who has been working on "Resident Evil" and that she is "looking forward" to working again next summer. "And when we arrive, it will hopefully be with the newest member of our little family. YAY!"

Jovovich and Anderson married in 2009. They have a daughter together, Ever, who was born in 2007.

Meanwhile, details about the latest installment of the "RE" franchise are still blurry, reported Ace Showbiz. Speculations are aplenty about the movie's protagonists Alice, Jill, Ada, Leon, Chris, Claire and Wesker's return. Jovovich will return as Alice in the latest movie but it there have been no information on who else will come back in the latest installment.
