Nick Kyrgios Beats Nadal At Underwear Game, Poses Shirtless For Bond: Ready To Take On US Open 2014 By Storm, Praised For Best Ice Bucket Challenge [PHOTO]

Nick Kyrgios beat Nadal not just at Wimbledon, but also at the underwear game. As the new shirtless spokesperson for Bond, Nick Kyrgios has a wedgie proof plan for his pants during tennis games. What’s his secret?

“I actually don’t wear underwear on the court,” Nick Kyrgios said in an interview with David Koch at Sunrise. Come again? “I wear Nike Skins underneath my shorts.”

Phew. The young Aussie tennis player had us hanging.

According to the previous article, John Morris, Nick Kyrgios’ agent, said that he has been sorting through the piles of sponsors eager to invest in the 19-year-old star.

Morris told Sydney Morning Herald, "We're not looking for short term gimmicks … we're looking for partnerships with people looking to come on board and be part of the Nick Kyrgios brand and the Nick Kyrgios journey, and that's why we're being very selective in a sense of who we partner with and who we bring into that team."

Looks like Bond qualified as the brand worth adding to “Nick Kyrgios brand and the Nick Kyrgios journey”. Or maybe it was a good publicity stint to get him officially shirtless in front of a camera.

On top of this new publicity stunt, Nick Kyrgios blew Twitter away with his funny Ice Bucket Challenge. After he listed off his nominations, the Australian tennis player got baptized with the smallest pail imaginable that just about soaked his crew cut.

Then again, as the new spokesperson/model for Bond, an Australian underwear brand, to admit that he doesn’t wear underwear is like saying that he doesn’t use tennis racket to Wilson.

Either way, the 19-year-old Australia-Greek-Malaysian is poised to take on the U.S. Open 2014 by storm, especially in the absence of Rafael Nadal, out due to a sustained wrist injury. Having been pushed out of Andy Murray in mere 53 minutes in his last game, Nick Kyrgios seems ready to show the world that he’s not just a one-time thing.

Do you think Nick Kyrgios will show his potential again at U.S. Open 2014? He definitely won’t be able to cheat like he did for Ice Bucket Challenge!
