"The Originals" season 2 spoilers revealed more dangerous alliances that will threaten the First Family as crossover with "Vampire Diaries" in the works.

Executive producer Michel Narducci dished out "The Originals" season 2 spoilers to BuddyTV  as he said that the premiere episode will start with the baby being hidden by Rebekah. Francesa is now in charge of the werewolves and "reproducing the moonlight ring."

Then the vampires have to deal with "a small army of stronger, faster, more dangerous werewolves in an alliance with the witches."

Co-showrunner Julie Plec also teased "The Originals" season 2 spoilers to the website when she said that The Vampires are now out of New Orleans while the family is in their compound trying to guess their next action as the werewolves, in alliance with the witches, are now controlling the city.

As the premiere rolls along, it's now four months after the final episode of season 1. Klaus could not leave the house and he's very angry as a result.

She also announced that the producers and network are working on the possible crossover between "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries."

Julie Plec also said that they will explore further the Esther and Mikael relationship. In the first five episodes, for example, they won't know about each other.

She said that Michael Narducci is writing an episode that will explain how Mikael turned into a monster and Esther "into the woman she became."

Earlier, TVLine dished out "The Originals" season 2 spoilers when it reported the addition of Colin Woodell ("Devious Maids") in a recurring role as a werewolf named Aiden.

"A lieutenant in New Orleans' leading werewolf pack, Aiden isn't opposed to teaming up with witches if they can help him take down vampires and keep his family safe," Andy Swift wrote, adding that Colin Woodell would expectedly form "dangerous alliances" that will keep the series interesting.
