Tina Fey Fakes The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge In The Cutest Way Possible: ’30 Rock’ Comedian Brings In Daughter Alice After Kermit The Frog Nomination

The "30 Rock" actress and comedian accepted a nomination from Kermit the Frog and posted a video of herself completing the ice water dousing. However, it appears that she and her daughter Alice may have just pulled a fast one.

In a video uploaded onto YouTube, Tina Fey announces from a garden in Brooklyn that she is about to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

"I think we should do it in a wider shot so you can see more of this beautiful skyline and see that I really did it and it was really me."

In steps Fey's daughter Alice Richmond, dressed in the same blue and grey sweatshirt as her mother. The 13-year-old stunt-double could easily be mistaken for Fey's mini-me.

Faux-Tina proceeds to nominate Miss Piggy, Captain Hook, and Sam Lumis before having a bucket of cold water poured over her head by a friend.

Fey admits to the on-camera trickery at the end of the video, however, when she pops her head into the shot as her soaked daughter shivers in the background.

"I'm just gonna donate guys," the "This Is Where I Leave You" star concedes.

Kermit the Frog completed his ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last Wednesday. After being nominated by WWE CEO Vince McMahon, the famed Muppet explained that he would brave the freezing water despite the fact that the drenching could make him "feel totally dormant" and stop his heart.

"No matter at all," declared Kermit.

The frog also said, "Not only am I ready and willing to accept this challenge, I am, to my knowledge, the first to do it absolutely naked."

In addition to challenging "Muppets Most Wanted" costar Fey, Kermit nominated cast members Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell.

The Ice Bucket Challenge has brought a massive amount of awareness to the need for donations towards ALS research. Celebrities and social media users have shared their video challenges with the world in what has become a trendy movement over the last few weeks.

According to the Huffington Post, the ALS Association has made over $41 million dollars due to the viral video campaign.
