Manny Pacquiao Vs. Chris Algieri Began Their World Media Tour, Pacquiao Not Impressed With Algieri? Find Out Here!

Manny Pacquiao vs Chris Algieri fight on November 22 began their world media tour on Monday, August 25 at the Venetian Macao to start the 12-day, 5-city promotional tour for their upcoming fight.

According to the article in the International Business Times, the respective boxer were with their trainers. Freddie Roach which is Pacquiao's mentor and Tim Lane which Algieri's mentor.

Bob Arum of Top Rank Boxing, Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing, Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions, and Ed Tracy of Sands China Ltd were also present at the said event.

The American fighter pulled off a major upset in his last fight, outpointing Ruslan Provodnikov in June to earn a fight with Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title in Macau.

In the article on Sky Sports, the Filipino fighter was not overly impressed with the performance of Algieri's fight with Provodnokov.

"I saw his fight with Ruslan," Pacquiao said.

"He took a lot of bad punches from Ruslan but he's tough, he can box. I'm not saying he's really good, but he's not bad. He's okay," he added.

Pacquiao, however, commented that Algieri's height is a different proposition.

"The biggest challenge for me is to fight another tall guy. I have to use my speed and footwork for this fight," said Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao vs Chris Algieri fight will be a chance for Algieri to be in the spotlight with Pacquiao, who is a legendary boxer whose record is 56-5-2 with 38 KOs.
