Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown's husband, was charged with  DUI Less Safe, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Driving With a Suspended License after a car wreck last week. 

Roswell Police spokesman Zachary Frommer said a preliminary investigation showed that Gordon was driving a BMW sedan that struck a curb while changing lanes. The car overturned and hit a fire hydrant on Holcomb Bridge Road. They said Gordon's friend, Mason Whitaker, was in the car.

According to RadarOnline.com, Bobbi Kristina Brown's husband Nick Gordon was arrested for DUI on Thursday morning following a crash shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Holcomb Bridge Road at Barnwell Road in his Georgia neighborhood.

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was not in the car. Neither Gordon, nor his passenger Mason Whitaker, were injured. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Zach Frommer of the Roswell, Ga., police department said "Today, at about 11:37am, there was a single vehicle accident at Holcomb Bridge Rd (GA 140) near the intersection of Barnwell Rd involving a BMW sedan. Preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle attempted to change lanes, struck a curb and overturned, striking a fire hydrant. There were no injuries reported and no one was transported to the hospital."

Police charged Gordon with DUI for failure to maintain a lane and driving with a suspended license. Gordon was taken to the Roswell Detention Center.

Nick Gordon was also Bobbi Kristina's childhood friend. She and Nick Gordon got engaged in 2012. Last year they announced they were married.

This is not the first time Gordon has been in trouble with the law. In 2012, he was arrested for reckless driving and speeding after a police officer caught him driving 82 miles an hour on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta.

Representatives for Kristina Brown have made no comments.
