Barclays Premier League: Swansea remains perfect

Swansea remains perfect! Swansea City's flying start to the season sustained as wingers Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge lead them to a 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion. The Welsh club started off their Barclays Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win at Manchester United, before Burnley 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium last weekend.

West Brom tried their best to battle their way back into the tie after the break, but Dyer doubled his own tally in the 71st minute to make sure of three points.

They were on the front foot almost instantly against West Brom, Dyer tucking the ball home from a narrow angle in the opening two minutes. The home side was in total control and Routledge grabbed a deserved second in the 24th minute with an astonishing effort from the edge of the penalty area.

The result means Swansea head into the international break with nine points from a possible nine, while Alan Irvine is still searching for his first league win as West Brom's head coach.
