Kim Kardashian Denies Rita Ora MTV VMAs Seat Change; Keeping Up With the Kardashians Star Says `Item Is False’

Kim Kardashian says reports that she refused to sit next to Rita Ora at the MTV VMAs because she blames the "I Never Let You Down" singer for letting down Rob Kardashian in a messy breakup in 2012.

Reality TV star and Kanye West's new wife, Kim Kardashian flatly denied refusing to sit near brother Rob's ex Rita Ora at the MTV VMAs. The star says she never asked to move seats

A spokesperson for Kardashian told the Mirror: "She sat in the seat she was assigned. The tickets were issued days prior. The item is false."

TMZ reported that Kim showed up at the MTV VMAs and found that she was seated a couple seats from Ora's. TMZ says Kardashian was polite and drama free, but merely didn't want to have to be social with Rita.

The 33-year-old star is said to still blame the singer for her messy split from Kim's brother Rob Kardashian in 2012. Reports say Kim blames Rita for Rob's "emotional issues" like his weight gain and possible drug dependency.

Rita and Rob broke in December 2012 after nearly a year of dating on allegations that Ora cheated on him dozens of times. Rob Kardashian has never made public statements about the relationship.

At the time, though Rob wrote on social media ''She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together... But I mean 20?!!!! (sic)''

After the Rob Kardashian breakup, Rita Ora dated Calvin Harris for a about a year, but they had a messy breakup and Harris even reportedly refused her permission to sing her latest single, "I Will Never Let You Down," which he wrote and produced, at the Teen Choice Awards in August.
