Novak Djokovic will face off against tennis rival Andy Murray on Wednesday in a quarterfinals match of the US Open 2014 tournament, pitting two of the tournament's strongest players against each other.

Novak Djokovic, who is expected to be the favorite, defeated Philipp Kohlschreiber 7-5, 7-5, 6-4 in his last match.

Andy Murray, the rumored underdog, beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga with a 7-5, 7-5, 6-4 victory in his previous game.

"It was extremely tough conditions and was very humid," Murray said after the match, according to The Telegraph.

"There was a bit of shade by the third set but the first two were mentally and physically draining. It was tough, so I'm glad to get through."
