New bromance alert! It appears that Ansel Elgort and Joe Jonas are besties. Or at least friends. The duo was spotted hanging out in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 3. 

Elgort, 20, and Jonas, 25, kicked off the day by meeting up at the Bowery Hotel. The unlikely duo then made their way to the Billy Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens for the US Open.

Jonas uploaded a photo of the duo on Instagram, simply titling the pic, "@usopen selfie @anselelgort."

He and Elgort had prime seats to watch the Men's Singles Quarterfinal match at the Open between tennis heavyweights Novak Djokovic.

The friends seemed to enjoy themselves during the match, laughing as they chatted in the VIP box and posing for pictures with fans. Elgort showed a little New York love by wearing a Knicks cap while Jonas dressed up in a stylish black button-down.

Elgort, best known for his role in this summer's "The Fault In Our Stars," and Jonas, of Jonas Brothers fame, were among several celebrities in attendance at the buzzing tennis match.

Leonardo DiCaprio sat by himself at the event, while "Serendipity" co-stars Jeremy Piven and Bridget Moynahan enjoyed the match side-by-side.

After four intense sets, Djokovic beat Murray 7-6(1), 6-7(1), 6-2, 6-4.

Jonas also had some fun at the Open, posing in a silly picture with a wall decoration from the men's restroom.

"Took this off the wall in the bathroom at the @usopen #moetmoment #drinkorswim," he captioned the photo.

So could the bromance between Joe and Ansel extend into their music careers? Jonas has recently taken a stab at a solo music career while Elgort has also established himself as a DJ, under the stage name Ansolo.

Perhaps a collaboration is in the works? Or could these two be cooking up a film project together?

Who knows. In the meantime, the enamored fans everywhere will be hoping this bromance continues.
