Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley’s fates are tied. Not only have they starred in a string of movies together (‘Spectacular Now’, ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’), they are also starting to receive the much coveted Oscar buzz as the Academy Awards season draws close-ish. ‘Whiplash’ actor celebrated his Oscar buzz at Vegas and Cabo with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.

Miles Teller received the Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival for his performance in ‘Whiplash’, but only started to receive the attention he deserves for this year’s Oscar race. Huffington Post writes that Miles Teller’s performance is “revelatory” and that he displayed “both the smart-aleck energy of a young Shia LaBeouf and the verbal dexterity of Vince Vaughn”.

To celebrate all his positive Oscar buzz, ‘Whiplash’ actor and his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry whisked themselves off to a Vegas-Cabo trip for some last-minute summer vacation.

Model Keleigh Sperry captioned the picture, “Vegas”.

According to the New York Post, Miles Teller, 27, and Keleigh Sperry, 21, “were at Hakkasan Las Vegas on Saturday, partying with “The Vampire Diaries” babe Nina Dobrev, “Gossip Girl” vets Chace Crawford and Jessica Szohr and “Glee” star Jenna Ushkowitz.”

Quite a star studded list.

Then Miles and Keleigh Sperry ditched all their famous friends and whisked themselves to Cabo where they clocked in some quality couple time.

Keleigh captioned the picture, “The sunburn struggle is real.” Life is a struggle, yo.

She wrote, “I wanna be contigo and dance contigo.”

Having just admitted that he never dated Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller has been appearing more and more on Keleigh’s Instagram. Even with the Oscar buzz, it looks like the ‘Whiplash’ actor wants to keep him long-term girlfriend close.
