‘High School Musical’ star started off the week with all the happy news. She announced that she will indeed be starring in ‘Gigi’ at the Kennedy Center, which will undoubtedly transfer to New York’s Broadway.

She wrote on her Instagram, “So excited to play Gigi in @GigiOnBroadway! I hope y'all will have a chance to see me in it when we open!! #chooselamour.”

Looks like the ‘High School Musical’ star will soon become a Broadway musical star!

Vanessa Hudgens also celebrated life at her bestie Ashley Tisdale’s wedding, dressed in her bridesmaids dress. She wrote on her Instagram, “I still can't believe this happened. The most beautiful wedding with an angel @ashleytisdale as the bride. Congratulations mrs French.”

But her week ended on a sadder note with the passing of her boyfriend Austin Butler’s mother.

This must be a hard week for Austin Butler. Good thing that his girlfriend of two years Vanessa Hudgens will be right by him the entire weekend. Since they are both religiously inclined, there will be nothing better to find some relief at a church.

According to a previous article, Vanessa Hudgens, 25, and her boyfriend Austin Butler, 22, attended Hillsong Los Angeles on his birthday earlier this summer. In the awe of the convert, ‘Spring Breakers’ actress just commented simply on her Instagram, “Be Blessed. #hillsongLA”.

Austin Butler, like Vanessa Hudgens, is also an actor, known for starring in ‘The Carrie Diaries’, a spin-off of ‘Sex in the City’, exploring the life of a younger Carrie Bradshaw.
