Ronda Rousey's next fight is definitely happening in January, as the "Expendables 3" cast is reportedly working more intensely following her injury.

UFC president Dana White said at the press conference for UFC 181 that they are 100% certain that Ronda Rousey's next fight will be in January.

"She'll fight in January, 100-percent. She'll fight in January, and then she's going to film a movie, and then I'm hoping for her to come back again in March," he said, per MMA Fighting website.

However, Cat Zingano remains the top prospect as the opponent for Ronda Rousey's next fight. Zingano, the top ranked women's bantamweight contender, will have to win over Amanda Nunes during the UFC 178.

Zingano earned his title shot at Ronda Rousey after putting Miesha Tate to sleep in the third round last year. But she suffered several knee injuries which placed her career at the sidelines.

"If Rousey (10-0) returns to fight in January, it will likely be as the co-main event of UFC 182, which features a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, or UFC 183, which is headlined by the blockbuster returns of former middleweight champion Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz," MMA Fighting said.

Meanwhile, coach Edmond Tarvedyan told Yahoo Sports that they are preparing hard heading into Ronda Rousey's next fight.

"It's great to work with her. She loves it. She improves every day," he said, adding that they are working hard on her boxing skills and she's improving steadily, which prompted her coach to make a bold prediction: "No question [that] Ronda could win the world boxing championships in the female division - next fight," he said.

"She gets that work in the gym, with the world champions [and] she does get the best of it. We do not release footage but, you know, one day [when] she retires, we will," her coach added about Ronda Rousey's next fight preparation.
