Tracy Morgan Accident: ’30 Rock’ Actor’s Condition Unknown After Previous Report; Movie ‘The Boxtrolls’ Box Office Performance Rallies Behind Denzel Washington’s ‘The Equalizer’

Tracy Morgan accident update shows that the "30 Rock" actor's condition still unknown as his movie "The Boxtrolls" box-office sales rallied just behind Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer" and "The Maze Runner."

Ahead of the good box-office showing of "The Boxtrolls," there's no Tracy Morgan accident update yet from the doctors and family of the comedian.

The Hollywood.com earlier reported Tracy Morgan accident update when it claimed that doctors need to wait about a month before they can assess the long-tem damage to his cognitive ability.

The comedian broke his leg and ribs, as well as sustaining traumatic brain injuries, when the van he was riding was rear-ended by a Wal-mart truck along the New Jersey Turnpike. Tracy Morgan's assistant, Jeffrey Millea, and comedian Ardie Fuqua Jr. were also injured in the crash.

Earlier, lawer Benedict P. Morelli dished out Tracy Morgan accident update to People magazine as he claimed that the comedian is "really having a tough time."

In a report from Wall Street Journal, Tracy Morgan's "The Boxtrolls" earned $17.3 million in the box-office, which was supposedly Laika animation studio's best outing to date after "Coraline" premiered to $16.8 million in 2009.

Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer" also killed it at the box-office after earning the actor's best opening since "Safe House." "The Equalizer" ruled the charts by generating $35 million in revenues.

Produced by Focus Features, "The Boxtrolls" tells the story of a group of "quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs" beneath the streets of Cheesebridge.

According to the film's synopsis found in its website: "When the town's villain, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, 'into the light,' where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnie (Elle Fanning). Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs' family."

The comedian voiced Mr. Gristle prior to the Tracy Morgan accident.
