The 2014 Mazda CX-5 SUV is equipped with a 2L gas Flat-4 engine which is mated to a 6-speed manual and produces 155hp. The FWD produces 155hp with 150 ft-lbs of torque, it produces a 35mpg on highways and 26mpg on the city.

On the other hand, the 2014 BMW X5 SUV is powered by a 3L "naturally aspirated diesel Inline-6 motor that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission." The BMW X5 produce a 255hp and 413 ft-lbs of torque. The said SUV is able to achieve a 23mog on city road and 31mpg on highways.

Moreover, the Mazda CX-5 can only accommodate 5 passengers and features one touch windows, cruise control, powered exterior mirror control, power tilt steering wheel and keyless ignition. While the BMW X5 can accommodate 7 passengers, the said SUV comes with an all-terrain function. This kind of feature offers the user to take an off-road challenge.

Aside from the said function, the BMW X5 also features V-6/eight-speed drivetrain, power windows, AM/FM/CD player with USB port, Bluetooth with audio streaming, Sensatec synthetic-leather upholstery, panoramic moon roof, parking sensors, power tailgate, and a four-year/50,000-mile warranty.

In terms of price, the BMW X5 comes with $56,600 while the Mazda CX-5 price is estimated at $21,000.
