Michael Schumacher news update remains bleak as the former F1 champion remains under 24/7 attention from as many as 15 people. Meanwhile, his son Mick showed great promise after finishing second in the FIA KF Junior World Championship.

According to Euro Sport in its Michael Schumacher news update, the large number of staff caring for Schumi has resulted to the seven-time champ racking up bills to as much as £100,000 each week.

Last month, Michael Schumacher was released from the rehabilitation center so his treatment can be continued from home. But the staff from the Lausanne clinic will be on 24-hour cycle to care for Schumi in his Gland home.

"A large part of the team that cares for Michael now was trained by our specialists. We are following his treatment and are still a point of contact and entirely at his disposal," a spokesperson said.

His manager Sabine Kehm has not provided any Michael Schumacher news update relating to his condition.

Meanwhile, the champion's son, Mick Schumacher finished as runner-up in the recent FIA KF Junior World Championships in Essay, France. He only trailed British Enaam Ahmed, said Yahoo Sport.

Immediately after his good finish, Michael Schumacher's son Mick is already setting his eyes on a bigger goal.

"Of course I am proud of such an important result but it is also clear that it is my goal to be world champion," he said. "This is only the beginning of my career."

However, Bleacher Report said that Michael Schumacher's son Mick has a good record, but it's not mind-blowing.

Nevertheless, he's very much aware of the pressure that his name brings, which even prompted him during the early part of his career to carry his mother's maiden name when racing. One thing going for him, according to the report, is that he won't have any problem getting sponsors considering his pedigree.
