Celta Vigo will face off against rival Villareal on Sunday, placing two of La Liga BBVA's closely followed teams against each other.

Celta Vigo, currently ranked number six in the league's standings, is expected to be the favorite in the match. Villareal, ranked number seven in the league, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Controversy surrounds La Liga BBVA as Atlético Madrid captain Gabi Fernández admitted being involved in the alleged fixing of Real Zaragoza's 2-1 defeat of Levante in 2011.

"I did what the club asked me to," Fernández told El Mundo during a recent interview.

There are a total of ten matches scheduled for Week 7 of La Liga BBVA's season schedule.
