MacBook Air Retina Display Release Date: New Apple Portable Laptop Will Be Slimmer, More Powerful And Battery Efficient Than Ever?

Ever since the technology came to the Pro, the MacBook Air Retina display release date is one of the most awaited dates for Apple fans.

Some consumers have postponed buying a new Mac last year because only the 13.3 MacBook Pro was given a Retina edition. The improvements of the 2013 MacBook Airs were nice, some of which include a base 128GB SSD storage, and the prolonged battery life thanks to Intel's new Haswell chips.

Unfortunately, fans are looking for a much better display, especially as other manufacturers already have Full HD laptop screens in the market.

So when would we finally get a MacBook Air with Retina display?

According to recent reports, the new Air lineup will feature an even slimmer design, a more powerful chipset and finally, the Retina display.

While the new MacBook Air laptops are expected to make their debut this month in one of Apple's events, we can't be really sure.

Earlier this year, the 2013 MacBook Air models have been replaced by a newer model, though both the 11-inch and 13-inch editions feature the same specs.

However, the fact that the Cupertino manufacturer has already released a refreshed edition could mean that the release of another MacBook Air laptop may be set next year.

Another possibility is that Apple would launch a MacBook Air with Retina display, and not follow up on the non-Retina models, just like what it did with the MacBook Pro last year. While the Pro Retina was announced, the non-Retina Macbook Pro did not get any new models.

Instead, Apple decided to keep the 2012 model on sale.

It's already October and we can finally confirm which of these two scenarios will work out as far as the MacBook Air with Retina display release date is concerned.
