iPad Air 2 Release Date Tipped On October 16, Apple Could Launch New Versions Of Mac Mini, iMac With New OS X Yosemite Update

Are you a fan of Apple's mobile devices and you're already waiting for the iPad Air 2 release date? Or even the new Retina mini? If so, then you may not wait much longer as a new report claims it will be soon.

According to a report by Re/code and 9to5mac, the Cupertino-based manufacturer could be releasing the new iPads in its upcoming event on October 18 at Apple's own Town Hall inside its facility in California.

In previous reports, Apple is preparing to launch its new iPad Air to follow up on the initial success of the lightweight tablet launched last year. It will reportedly be able to support multi-tasking on a split screen to allow better productivity for its users. While it has also been rumored to boast a sapphire display, that feature may not push through given that the new iPhones do not have it.

Other specs tipped include a Touch ID home button, the new iOS 8, and an even slimmer design.

Meanwhile, there has not been any new reports and rumors about the smaller iPad mini with Retina display. Last year, a lot of people thought that the first Retina mini will take the entire tech world by storm with its higher resolutions screen.

However, those expectations failed when it was outplayed by its larger sibling.

The October 18 is also slated to be the launch date of the new version of OS X, Yosemite. And to join the new version, some new Macs may also make their way to the list of announced devices.

Some of the rumored devices which could be refreshed by Apple include the iMac and the Mac mini.

If you are looking for the MacBook Air with Retina display, we wouldn't we surprised if Apple announces the new super thin laptop as well.

October is shaping up to be another busy month for the tech market, so you better brace yourself and enjoy the ride.
