Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter Engaged? Headlines are speculating that the baseball legend, who played  his last game as a New York Yankee on Sunday, Sept. 28, and St. Thomas-born supermodel might be having a secret wedding this weekend.

TMZ reported that Baseball legend Derek Jeter might and his girlfriend Hannah Davis are getting married this weekend at the famous Oheka Castle on Long Island, where scenes from 1941 classic film Citizen Kane were shot. Reps for Jeter and the venue did not return requests for comment, while a spokesperson for Davis had no comment on the matter.

A source told HollywoodLife.com "If it is a wedding, the only people who know are Derek and Hannah. Nobody has been told anything, which is getting people excited because why not just announce that you're having a retirement party?"

"Friends are expecting that it will have something to do with retirement but they'd be shocked if a full wedding is taking place, which is causing people to suspect that maybe they will announce an engagement," the insider continued. "There is a lot of excitement surrounding it and what will actually happen."

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis have been dating for a couple of years, but have not yet announced an engagement. Davis seen wearing what looked like a diamond engagement ring last October.

Baseball legend Derek Jeter retired from baseball after his last game against the Boston Red Sox on Sept. 28 and is starting his own Internet publishing platform for athletes called "The Players' Tribune."

"We want the athletes to be able to share their own stories, and really from a first-person perspective," Jeter told Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Oct. 2. "This is not trying to eliminate the sportswriters. The sportswriters are what make sports great and fun to watch, and people's difference of opinion."
