Things have not been going well for Teresa and Joe Giudice lately, but it looks like they may have one thing to worry about. The couple was reportedly paid a huge sum to sit down with Andy Cohen for an interview on Bravo, in which they discussed their recent prison sentencing for fraud and tax evasion. Apparently the check they received is almost enough to completely pay the restitution they owe their defrauded creditors. In the interview, the Giudice matriarch discussed her emotional state during the day in court that her fate was decided.

TMZ reports that the couple received $325,000 for the interview, which covers most of the $400,000 they were ordered to pay creditors. The couple initially owed millions, but at their sentencing last week the amount was reduced as they were both sentenced to time behind bars – 15 months for Teresa and 41 months for Joe. Sources say that Bravo’s initial offer was $275,000 for just Teresa, but then they added on another $50 to include her husband.

During the interview, Teresa told Cohen she “was shocked” to learn that she would be serving time, adding, “it was very unexpected, I don’t even know what to say.” She said that while awaiting her sentencing, "My nerves were pulling. At one point I couldn’t even move my fingers. They were like stuck. I couldn’t open my hands. My nerves were shot.”

Teresa recounted her conversation with 13-year-old daughter Gia after learning about her prison sentence, which will be served before Joe serves his. “She was like ‘it’s gonna be ok,’” the TV personality recounted, adding, “She was being strong for me I could tell.” She went onto say, “She was like, ‘mommy, don’t worry about it I’ll be there,’” and insisted that she would help Joe take care of her three younger siblings. Teresa remarked, “It broke my heart that she said that.”
