Singer Roy Kim revealed how his song "Home" came to be.

On October 8, Roy Kim posted on his Instagram, "Actually, my 2nd album's title song 'HOME' was created thanks to my 14-year friend Sancho."

He explained that his long friendship with Sancho was the inspiration behind the new song. "The song was made from the point of view of Sancho. Whatever happens to me, this friend always waits for me at home in front of the door, which made me reenergized and happy," he wrote and included a picture of himself holding his dog.

"I'm sure that all of you have someone like Sancho near you. I was so thankful to hear that you were able to find that precious one in your life through my music. I will always sing thinking this is my begining," Roy Kim ended his thoughtful message to his Instagram followers.

Instagram users who saw this commented, "Ah, that's how he wrote it. Thank you, Roy Kim," "The song is so good," and "I hope you and Sancho continue to have that relationship."

Roy Kim released his second album HOME on October  8.
