Since news that Gostbusters 3 is actually happening, celebs and fans have been revealing their fantasy casts for the supernatural comedy franchise created in 1984. Two names that seem to pop up again and again are Mindy Kaling and Emma Stone.

In her humorous memoir, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (2011), Kaling put together a female Ghostbusters team. She put herself along with Emily Blunt, Taraji P. Hinson and Natalie Portman. So since this is actually happening, is 'The Mindy Project' star ready to take on one of the roles in Paul Feig's project?

Mindy told Vulture during the New Yorker Festival party this past weekend, "I love Paul, and I would never deign to take up his time by lobbying," she added,  "It's such a amazing movie, that the whole area of speculating on it is...I think it's out of my pay grade."

Stone, who was hand-picked by Ghostbusters cast member, Bill Murray told Vulture, "That's very nice," she said, before jokingly adding, "I want to see Bill Murray in a female Ghostbusters."

When asked, if she would like to join the project, McCarthy had no hesitation about working with the ladies on Murray's handpicked list. She said, "Oh, my God, that's daunting. That's taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all."

Gillian Anderson is definitely ready to take it on, wrote during her Reddit AMA, "OH MY GOD, I just looked it up online," she added, "Paul Feig, cast me now! Start a Twitter petition! I'm free!!!!! I'm free I'm free and I'm funny goddamnit!"

Earlier this month, Feig tweeted, "It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @KatieDippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call."
