Body Of Misty Upham Found? Police Say There Is A ‘Good Chance’ Found Corpse Is Missing ‘August Osage County’ Actress

It appears that there may be a tragic end to the mystery of what happened to actress Misty Upham.

According to KIRO-TV, police officers in Auburn, Washington have reportedly discovered a body near the White River that they believe could be the missing actress.

"Friend of missing actress Misty Upham tells me a search party of three found her purse and then a body. Awaiting official identification," wrote Graham Johnson, a reporter for the publication.

TMZ has also reported that Upham's uncle said the police had confirmed the body as Misty.

On Twitter, Graham Johnson also wrote that the "sister of Misty Upham says relatives feared the actress was a danger to herself."

Charles Upham, the actress's father, stated several days ago that he believed his daughter might have been suicidal.

"She had recently changed her medication, so she was sort of having erratic behavior," Charles told The Hollywood Reporter after reporting her missing on Oct. 6. "She told me and her mom that we didn't have to worry about her any more. ... I thought it sounded suicidal myself, so I called the police. She's always been a suicidal person."

Conversely, on Oct. 12, Charles also wrote in a Facebook post on Oct. 12 that he didn't believe his daughter had taken her own life.

"I feel that she has been hurt by accident or someone has put her in harm's way," wrote the actress's father.

Although authorities have yet to officially make a statement concerning the body, Steve Stocker, a spokesperson for the police, told The Seattle Times that there was a "good chance" the corpse was indeed that of Upham.

The 32-year-old Native American actress had roles in "August Osage County," "Frozen River," and "Django Unchained."
