Bethenny Frankel confirms joining RHONY season 7!  Bethenny was a main character on Real Housewives of New York  until Frankel quit in 2010. Bethenny, 43, told PEOPLE Magazine, today that she's "excited" about returning to reality TV, because "being on reality TV was very freeing for me." Throughout her time on Bravo, we've watched Bethenny on RHONY, and then Bethenny Getting Married? and then struggle to maintain her marriage in the face of becoming the CEO of Skinny Girl on Bethenny Ever After...

We have loved her since day one of RHONY and now she's finally back after her talk show didn't make the cut. Bethenny is now divorced and we are excited to see how she deals with the aftermath. But before Bethenny had confirmed her return to RHONY,  Radar Online said"

"Bethenny Frankel is refusing to come back if arch-enemy Jill Zarin returns," an insider said. "For Bethenny to return to the show, she wants to move forward. Having Jill come back would just create more false drama in an attempt to recreate the past. "Ratings have been going downhill fast for RHONY and huge changes are neccessary for viewers to tune in again. 

Bravo and Andy Cohen really wanted Bethenny Frankel to return so they may not have let Jill Zarin come back as well. RHONY star Sonja Morgan revealed she was excited about the prospect of having Frankel back saying, "It would be a breath of fresh air and I could use a good sense of humor in the bunch. We always have fun together. She's a good egg and doesn't take herself so seriously."

Ramona Singer had been demoted by Bravo to a guest star while crazy Aviva Drescher has since been let go by the network. Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill will  return for Season 7 as regulars with Frankel.  Yipee!
