Oscar Pistorius Update: Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp's Mom Rejects 'Blade Runner's' Apology; Claims Model Set To Leave Paralympian

The latest Oscar Pistorius update reveal that the slain model, Reeva Steenkamp, was supposed to leave the Paralympian the night she was killed, as her mother June Steenkamp rejected "Blade Runner's" apology.

According to the Oscar Pistorius update from The Times as relayed by Sydney Morning Herald, Reeva Steenkamp's clothes were already packed so there's no doubt in their minds that she was going to leave him the night he shot her.

June Steenkamp wrote a book, serialized on The Times, titled "Reeva: A Mother's Story" where he weighed in on the murder and the ensuing trial. She said they were "shocked" upon learning that Oscar Pistorius was only found guilty for manslaughter instead of murder.

She added that Reeva Steenkamp has not slept with Oscar Pistorius as she's afraid to take their relationship to that level.

"She wouldn't want to sleep with Oscar if she wasn't sure. I believe their relationship was coming to an end. In her heart of hearts, she didn't think it was making either of them happy," June Steenkamp said shedding light on Oscar Pistorius update.

She then described the Blade Runner as arrogant, volatile and "trigger happy."

"It was Reeva's bad luck that she met him, because sooner or later he would have killed someone," she added.

The family has been experiencing financial troubles and the earnings from her book will help ease off their financial burden.

"You can laugh about some things. It's not like you are miserable all the time. It's just this wrenching pain that you get in your heart," she said, as she described the pain as "always there" from "the minute your eyes open in the morning, or if you wake up in the middle of the night, there it is."

Meanwhile, in other Oscar Pistorius update from BBC, June Steenkamp rejected his apology although she admitted that they could never really be sure about his intention the night he shot her.
