PlanetSide 2 PS4 release date is coming "really soon," maybe even at PlayStation Experience. Sony Online Entertainment confirmed that the beta release of Planetside 2 for PlayStation 4 is on its way.

Sony put the official PlanetSide 2 PS4 release date on the official Playstation asr December 2014. PS4 owners have been waiting for a version of the game that will work on their system.

Sony Online Entertainment's Community Manager, Tony "RadarX" Jones also gave some details abou the new game.

Planetside 2 lets gamers play against as many as 200 people at one time. Gamers can fight as one of three armies battling for control of different continents. Planetside 2 is free and supported at various microstransactions, but a lot of people simply don't have a computer powerful enough to play Planetside 2. That will change when the game comes to the PS4.

Matt Liebl of GameZone.com wrote that PlanetSide 2 for PS4 details will be revealed at the Playstation Experience event that comes to Las Vegas on December 6 and 7.

Lieble wrote "Jones has been pretty coy in sharing more details, only teasing that news regarding PlanetSide 2 on PS4 is coming 'so soon you won't know how soon that soon really is. It'll be an explosoon.' So looking ahead, what "big" events does Sony have planned where it would be appropriate to announce something as huge as PlanetSide 2's beta launching on PS4?"

Planetside 2 was originally released for personal comuters in 2012. The PlayStation 4 console port is in the final stages of development.

Systems and UI design chief Jon Weathers said the new game will have auto-turrets that will be accessible by the Engineer class may arrive as soon as November. The auto-turrets won't be transportable.
