A Placebo tour 2015 has been slated! Fans can start looking forward to shows from the band early next year.

After wowing the audience in their recent performance at the iTunes Festival, the Placebo tour 2015 is finally in the works. The series of shows will reportedly start in Dublin on February 25 and end on March 24 at London's Hammersmith Apollo.

Apart from the exciting tour news, the band, will also reportedly have a book project. Frontman Brian Molko has announced a lyric book which will feature some of the band's song lyrics. The project called "Brian Molko - Selected" will reportedly include a selection of lyrics from the band's 20 years in the music industry. Fans can start pre-ordering the book on October 31.

The band's latest studio effort was "Loud Like Love" released in September 2013, which got critical reviews. NME magazine, for instance, dubbed it a slip into "self-parody." "Nearly two decades on their debut, Placebo are still peddling the same dark arts that won them fans and foes in equal measure," the review explained. "Tplacebo have been plumbing the same vein for so long, they've slipped into self-parody and come out the other side with their lipstick all smudged."

While their latest record did not impress some, the news of the Placebo Tour 2015 will hopefully fare better among fans.
