Ronda Rousey Next Fight: 'Rowdy' Ready To Take Down Opponent Cat Zingano; Undefeated Women's Batamweight Champion Seen On UFC 182

Ronda Rousey's next fight against Cat Zingano has been confirmed by UFC president Dana White himself as he announced that the undefeated women's bantamweight champion will be the undercard of the Jon Jone and Daniel Cormier bout on UFC 182.

The article from Fox Sports said that Dana White told "UFC Tonight's" Ariel Helwani that Ronda Rousey's next fight vs. Cat Zingano will be on January 3 in Las Vegas.

Ronda Rousey just came off with a 16-second TKO beatdown against Alexis Davis last July, continuing her dominance in the Bantamweight division.

"The 27-year-old has finished every single one of her career fights and only one opponent, Miesha Tate, has made it out of the first round," the article noted. "'Rowdy' is known for her signature armbar submission, but her striking game has come a long way."

Cat Zingano, also undefeated at 9-0, is a specialist in striking, "though she is no slouch on the ground, either."

The 32-year-old secured the ticket to be the main opponent in Ronda Rousey's next fight when she defeated Amanda Nunes in a TKO at UFC 178 just last month.

"The Colorado native previously earned the distinction in April 2013 when she knocked out Tate, but a knee injury and the death of her husband sidelined Zingano for more than a year," Fox Sports added.

In an interview with Jim Rome earlier, Ronda Rousey said: "People ask me 'Do you think you can beat this person? Do you think you can beat that person?' and I always say, 'I'm not going to place limits on myself. I'm not going say I can't do something. You can't tell me there's a string of circumstances and events that could lead to me not beating anyone."

The LA Times reported that Ronda Rowdy continues to dominate the Women's Bantamweight division according to the latest rankings released by UFC.

She is followed by Cat Zingano, the main contender whom Ronda Rousey will fight in January. Sarah Kaufman, Miesha Tate and Sara McMann rounded up the top five
