WSOF defending champ Aguilar focused on her belt

"Oh, for sure I've had a great experience this camp with everything," Jessica Aguilar (18-4) said despite defending her World Series of Fighting (WSOF) title against a dedicated, recharged and young challenger. She is positive and certain that she will receive victory on November 15th.   "I'm going to be ready for anything," she tells Cagewriter.

She added: "I've got these last [couple] weeks to go, and I want them to go quick so I can get in there and have fun. I've got a great team and great coaches, so I can't complain. Training is the hard part, though. The fight is just like another sparring session."

That "sparring session" will probably be near the American Top Team fighter's home in Florida. She then declares that home turf will serve as one of her advantages against the Brazilian opponent. "I've traveled half way across the world to fight people, so I've been on both sides," she says.

She continued: "But it will definitely be nice for me. I'd say it's an advantage. I'm here in my home town, closer to my team, and it's just much easier when you don't have to travel."

The press asked the underrated champ if she somehow pictures out or imagine a triumphant situation where she continues to defend her WSOF belt through her current contract, and then the supporters demanded that the UFC sign her and book for a champ vs. champ title fight against their title-holder. Of course, people have seen this happen before!

Aguilar can't camouflaged in her face that fantasy has its appeal, but she insists that she's going to put her eyes on her WSOF belt. "You know, I want to reach the highest of all highs," she begins.

"I want to keep dominating this division, keep winning and improving myself, and getting better. I just want to fight the best. I'm really happy to be fighting in the WSOF. They've treated me well and gave me a great opportunity. They believed in me. So, right now, I will do that."

"But, that would be cool. I want to reach the highest levels and want to keep competing against the best. So, that would be awesome, if that came true."
