Amanda Knox Moves On From Murder Case As She Carves Name In Journalism; Raffaele Sollecito's Ex's Publisher Has Nothing But Good Things To Say About 'Foxy Knoxy'

Amanda Knox has moved on from the murder case as she tries to carve her niche in journalism. And "Foxy Knoxy's" publisher has nothing but good things to say regarding Raffaele Sollecito's ex.

Chelsea Hoffman wrote for the Examiner that hiring Amanda Knox despite her murder case should raise eyebrows.

"For starters, how does any major newspaper defend the hiring of a convicted killer -- not just any convicted killer, but someone who participated in a sexually-charged slasher style slaying of an innocent woman?" she wrote.

She also said that Amanda Knox has not done anything significant to warrant the hiring by the Westside Weekly as its freelance writer, except for the memoir that was banned overseas.

"This memoir wasn't even completely written by the convicted murderer. The talents of Linda Kulman were recruited by Knox and her publisher to work as a ghostwriter on the book," Hoffman alleged.

Meanwhile, the publisher of Westside Weekly, Ken Robinson, only has good things to say regarding Amanda Knox, said AOL.com.

Although they are aware of the Amanda Knox murder case, she has already written about 10 articles, mostly delving on the art and theater scene, for her hometown newspaper.

"I understand who she is, but it's no big deal," said Robinson, adding that they haven't met face-to-face as their communication is only limited through email.

"I think she's a very good writer, she's deeply interested in world of theater. She's a very enthusiastic contributor to the paper," Robinson said.

Despite the controversy surrounding the Amanda Knox murder case, the publisher said that he has yet to get a negative feedback for her writing, particularly from the subjects of her articles. The student already spent four years in Italian prison. She, along with her boyfriend at that time Raffaele Sollecito, was convicted in an appellate court for the murder of her roommate, British student Meredith Kercher.

But is hiring Amanda Knox given her murder case courting controversy for the paper? Robinson replied, "I didn't have those thoughts, she's just a contributor to me."
