Watch ‘Kill Bill Vol. 1’ Animator Kazuto Nakazawa’s New Commercial For Manchester United And Nissin Cup Noodles [VIDEO]

With all the "Kill Bill" sequel news circulating, some Quentin Tarantino fans may have revisited the first film and experienced the Oren Ishii animated sequence. Animation fans may have noticed that it looked like the work of animator Kazuto Nakazawa, who once brought Linkin Park fans "Breaking the Habit" animated music video and that's because it was indeed animated by Nakazawa.

Today Kazuto Nakazawa made a glorious return today, this time with a new commercial for popular football (or soccer for Americans) team Manchester United. In addition, the commercial also endorses the team's official global partner Nissin Foods, the people responsible for Cup Noodles. Because nothing is better than soccer and cup noodles.

"That is awesome. Too bad [Manchester] United was unfair to Shinji Kagawa and apparently only picked him up to try and appease the Japanese market," said one fan in Anime News Network's forum for the new video.

Perhaps this fan is on to something in regards to Manchester United attempting to appear the Japanese market. If indeed Shinji Kagawa's brief period as a football player for the team garnered some interest from Japan, the logical next step would of course be this animated commercial. And since Nissin Cup Noodles is a Japanese product, this commercial is perhaps the first of many attempts by Manchester United's football team to garner interest from Japan.

Manchester United's experience with Shinji Kagawa may not have played a role in the football club's marketing choices, especially when you consider that their global partner Nissin Foods is one of the largest exporters of instant noodles, and thus could stand to make considerable contribution to the club's functioning.

Regardless of what kind of meaning one can draw from the relationship between Manchester United and Nissin Foods, at least it's fun for animation fans to get to experience another creation from Kazuto Nakazawa. The new 30 second commercial is available to view below.
